Matthew Brennan
Matthew Brennan was one of my closest friends, and a huge part of the math contest community. We were IMO teammates in 2011 and 2012, where he earned a bronze and a gold medal. He returned as the Canadian deputy leader observer in 2014 and 2017, and was the leader in 2019. He contributed extensively to training and problem proposal, with a significant number of the CMO problems being created by him. Matt passed away unexpectedly due to a heart problem in January 2021.
After his passing, I collected all of his problems that were used on various contests over the years, as well as training materials that he wrote. The geometry handouts are some of the most extensive I have seen, and the problem selection is always exceptional (you might also notice the shift from geometry to combinatorics!). As I have a number of his unproposed problems, I will update the problem collection as they get chosen.
